		<description>Making the sale of incandescent lightbulbs illegal is fatuous political pandering. If government's concern genuinely is the reduction of carbon emissions, the most efficient way to do it would be a direct tax on emissions. I can't speak for California or Australia, but they're talking about banning the sale of incandescent lightbulbs in Ontario... a province where the consumer's electricity bill is subsidised by the government. Does anybody else see the inherent policy contradiction here?</description>
